INAGRITECH 2024 will emphasize more on the digitalization and smart agriculture technology
Jakarta (AGRINA-ONLINE.COM) - Indonesia is targeted to become the world's food granary by 2045. To achieve this ambitious goal, the Indonesian government is paying serious attention to the agricultural sector with various programs, such as increasing the level of food self-sufficiency and implementing smart farming technology and pumping irrigation to increase the productivity of the agricultural sector.
In 2024, the sugar industry is targeted to reach self-sufficiency, followed by rice and corn in 2025 to 2026. This steady progress in the agricultural sector will lead Indonesia to become the worlds food granary by 2045.
